Green Snowdrop / Woronow's Snowdrop (Galanthus woronowii) (27/02/2021) Southbank Equestrian, New Hall Lane, Small Dole, Henfield, W Sussex (drive to yard gate). There is another ssp - Galanthus ikariae, but that has outer green markings that extend upwards beyond half way. Common Snowdrop instead has a chevron that has a curve at the bottom, Green Snowdrop - as here - has a chevron that is flattened at teh bottom, sometimes simply two green spots.

Green rather than Common Snowdrop because of the much larger, wider and bright, shiny green leaves. Common Snowdrop instead has narrow and greyish/green (glaucous) leaves.
